HSFL Divison 3 - VFC Rovers 6 - 0 Kimpton Rovers

Kimpton Rovers said goodbye to their unbeaten start to the season courtesy of two goalkeeping. miscues and some disappointingly poor defending away at VFC Rovers.

The visitors looked unrecognisable from previous weeks and conceded twice in the first half, while barely troubling the home keeper at the other end.   Any hopes of reversing their fortunes after the break were smashed when they went further behind early in the half and the game was realistically lost.  Three more goals followed before the end with only a couple of meaningful attempts on goal at the other end, a bitterly disappointing day at the office for the community side.

The Meyer Office Solutions Player of the Match was Ryan Gray. Kimpton will look to bounce back next Sunday when they host league newcomers Meppershall FC at The Recreation Ground.
