HSFL Division 3 - Kimpton Rovers 1 - 6 AFC Symonds Green

With Halloween fast approaching, Kimpton Rovers delivered a 45 minute horror show that was more than fitting of the autumnal celebration.

An impressively tight first half saw neither side create a goalscoring opportunity and the sides go in goalless at the break.    Five minutes of madness at the start of the second period saw the visitors score three times, leaving the home side shell-shocked.  Rovers rallied and stemmed the onslaught, and reduced the deficit thanks to an own goal, but the recovery was short lived as the greens bagged a fourth pretty much from the restart.  This crushed what little spirit remained in the home side and a fifth and sixth goal before the end saw the visitors cruise to an easy victory.
